Background

Cairns Root was named after the Cairn tree Yssldor whose roots spread deep into the earth. The name was given to him Him by the Chieftain of the village. Along with his new title he became the skywatcher shaman of his tribe in the Marrow Valley. He enjoyed being a skywatcher until the empire came and he fled north as the last of tribe. He has now came to Palebank for safety to the temple of Bahamut. The first night there he met a sorcerer by the name of Nimphora Baliae Daphymira Stumbleduck who he played at dice and won. Cairns offered the money back not really wanting it but was refused. He didn’t know what to do with his money so he put it in the festival fund box.
