Background

Grew up in a small temple having been abandoned there as a baby. Temple was destroyed by orcs while he was out travelling and Algernon was the only survivor. He spent years as an alcoholic drifter, marginally got his shit together after meeting Cairns Root in a tavern and bonding over shared religion, then started travelling with him.
